THE WRITER'S STRIKE...
The writers' strike ain't over till it's over, and it ain't quite over yet -- but it's close. The Writers Guild of America has tentatively approved a deal with major studios that would end the more-than three-month strike. Although full ratification for the deal could be two weeks off, a membership vote scheduled for tomorrow could have writers back behind their computers by Wednesday. The proposed deal would give the people who put the words in the actors mouths increased payment for the online use of movies and T-V shows and, presumably, would allow the February 24th Oscars telecast to go off without a hitch.

DO YOU TAKE WHAT YOU CAN?
When you're at a hotel, do you look at it as a mini shopping spree, and throw everything you can into your suitcase... soap, shampoo, towels, glasses, stationary???

According to a survey by TripAdvisor, 22% of people admit that they usually like to steal stuff from their hotel rooms. And according to the American Hotel & Lodging Association, that theft costs hotels an estimated $100 MILLION a year.
