Fantasia was the guest performer. She announced that she would play Miss Celie in the Broadway production of “Color Purple”. Fantasia’s opening night is April 11. Quincy Jones, one of “Purple’s” producers was in the audience to promote the show.
Rumor has it that Kellie Pickler will appear next Wednesday to sing her new single “I Wonder”.
GREASE: YOU'RE THE ONE THAT I WANT!
Jason was under the weather, but we spoke with Juliana about being the latest Sandy voted out. She wasn't surprised that she was eliminated, but she was disappointed she didn't get the chance to show her "dun side" by singing an upbeat song. She told us it's a busy week every week preparing for the show, as you only get Tuesday off, with Monday being the day they give you a new song, and Wednesday starting grueling rehearsals for the next live show. Now that she's eliminated, she's rooting for her good friend Kate to win the role of Sandy, and either Derek, Austin, or Kevin to win the role of Danny. Grease: You're The One That I Want continues on Sunday, 8 PM on NBC.
