GET THE LOWEST PRICE AT TARGET AND COSTCO!
Here's what you should know: When Target is discounting something, they keep changing the final number of the price.

If something starts at $10.99, it'll drop down to $8.58, and then to something like $7.16, and finally, to $5.24. It always works that way: When the price ends with a "4", that's the lowest that Target will mark it down.

So. . . if a sale item at Target has a price that ends in a "4", you should buy it, 'cause that's the cheapest it will go. If the last digit is anything higher than that, they may mark it down again. And sources say at Costco, the final number to look for is "7". Now you know.

WOULD YOU HAVE WANTED A PUBLIC PROPOSAL?
I don't care what you think about the Boise State player popping the question to his girlfriend on national TV, the rule of thumb should still be this... THINK TWICE about a public proposal. It does not signify more intense feelings if you ask your girlfriend to marry you on the scoreboard at Dodger Stadium, or with skywriting, or by, as one guy is allegedly doing, trying to raise money to do it on a Super Bowl commercial. Just stop it.

WE GET 22% OF OUR CALORIES FROM LIQUIDS
According to a new study, it's not just all the donuts and buttered sausage links that's making so many Americans chub up. No. . . it turns out, we're DRINKING our way to chunkytown, too.

The study, by the Milk Processor Education Program, finds that the average American gets 22% of their calories from LIQUIDS. But, because the food's not in solid form, we don't usually count the calories in our heads.

The average American drinks 17.5 ounces of non-diet soft drinks and teas every day. . . 8.9 ounces of coffee. . . and 7.5 ounces of milk.

Soda makes up 6.4% of America's total calorie intake. For teenagers, it's even higher: It's 10% of the calories in the average male teenager's diet, and 9% in the average female teenager's.
