FOUR WAYS TO MAKE YOUR CAR MORE ECO-FRIENDLY
So, you can't carpool to work... but that's not the only way to reduce the environmental impact of your daily commute. Here are four ways to cut down on your car's emissions...

1) GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED REGULARLY. Keeping your car in shape will increase your fuel efficiency, which is nice for both the environment AND your wallet.

2) CHECK YOUR TIRES. Under-inflated tires are a common cause of both carbon emissions and bad gas mileage. Checking your tires once a week is an easy way to help the environment.

3) SKIP THE DRIVE-THRU. It's not hard to figure out that leaving your car running for five minutes without going anywhere is a bad idea... Instead, park and order your food inside.

4) SLOW DOWN. Whether you're suddenly speeding up, or abruptly slowing down... it's horrible for your gas mileage... Instead, try to drive at a slower, steadier rate all the time. It's better for the environment, and you'll drive more safely.
