Have you noticed it's not what you make -- but what you do? Meaning if your job sounds impressive, people think you make a lot of money. Let's say you work in TV, for instance ... People's eyes will widen, saying, "Really?" But little do they know that unless you're WAY high up on the TV ladder, you're making as much as someone who answers phones. A garbage man makes more than a lot of people who work in TV. But that doesn't get the eyes of other people quite as big.

11% of companies have busted employees for improper use of blogs and message boards in the last year.
13% have disciplined employees for using social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace.
And 14% of large companies reprimanded employees from using media sharing sites like Limewire in the last year.
