Right now, it seems like SILVER is the most logical color choice for a new car. It looks cool... and, unlike other cool colors like black, you don't have to wash it that often because it hides dirt.
And... it seems like a lot of people are thinking the same thing. For the seventh year in a row, silver is the most popular car color in America. That's based on cars sold last year.
Almost 20% of the vehicles sold here last year were silver. That means just about one out of every FIVE. Up until 2001, white was the most popular vehicle color.
Last year, white was the second-most popular color... after that, in order, the most popular colors are: Gray, black, blue, red, light brown, green, white pearl, and yellow-slash-gold.
