CELL PHONES HAVE RUINED OUR MEMORIZATION SKILLS:
Remember back like, 12, 15 years ago, when you knew all of your friends' phone numbers by heart? Probably some of your family members' numbers too.

Now. . . think about this: How many people's phone numbers do you have memorized today? Maybe four or five? (--And one of those is your OWN cell phone number?)

You're NOT alone. Ian Robertson, a psychology professor at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, says that cell phones have RUINED our memorization skills. . . quote, "People have more to remember these days, [but] they're relying on technology for their memory."

In a new survey, 66% of people say they rely on their cell phone, PDA or computer to remember phone numbers.

25% can't even recite the phone number to their OWN home phone.

66% say they can't name more than three friends' and family members' birthdays.
And 50% of people say they use the same password for EVERYTHING they do online because they can't remember more than that.

IT'S TRUE: YOUR WIFE JUST FLAT-OUT OWNS YOU...
This one's for all the married men out there who "KNOW" they're the one who wears the pants at home. Yeah. . . YOU DON'T.

A new study at Iowa State University has found that, across the board, wives have MORE POWER than their husbands in making decisions and dominating discussions.

Scientists observed married couples while they discussed some of their issues. . . issues about money, housework, feelings, time together, communication, kids, everything. . . and then analyzed the conversations based on both people's words and behavior.

They found wives were MORE DEMANDING in asking for changes. . . and WAY more likely to get their way than their husbands. That was even true when the HUSBAND was the one who brought up the issue.

The husbands were also way more likely to just go along with what their wives said.

Megan Murphy, a psychologist who led the study, says that WIFE POWER is actually a good sign that the marriage is working.

Quote, "Women are responsible for overseeing the relationship, making sure the relationship runs, that everything gets done and that everybody's happy. Wife power is the marker of a healthy marriage, that men accept influence from their wives.
