FIRST TIME PARENTING TIPS
This morning we put out the call and you delivered... We asked, what advice would you give a first time parent?

Here's what you said...
-Sleep when the baby sleeps
-Always hear what your kids are telling you
-Don't discipline your kids out of anger or when you're angry
-Be consistent... what you teach them today should be the same tomorrow
-Enjoy every moment... you never get them back if you miss them
-Support each other as parents
-Do things your own way... don't parent a certain way because someone else is

Thanks for the tips!

COULD YOU PASS A WRITTEN DRIVER'S TEST?
Back when you were getting your first driver's license, I'm guessing you did what I did: You got the little practice booklet from the DMV, crammed hardcore the night before you took the written test, got just enough questions right to pass. . . and never thought about it again.

Well... according to a new study of millions of U.S. drivers by GMAC Insurance, there's a decent chance that all your years of driving HAVEN'T helped you learn the stuff that's on that test through osmosis.

77.1% of drivers passed a 20-question driver's test they put together. The bad news: That means 22.9% failed... which calculates out to 36 MILLION American drivers.

New Yorkers had the highest failure rate, at 36%. Idaho drivers were the best, at 19.3%.

The question that the most people got wrong: What do you do if you're approaching a steady yellow traffic light? Only 16% got it right: You're supposed to stop if it's safe to do so.

The other question that got a ton of people: What's the proper distance to leave between your car and the car in front of you? Only 19% knew the answer: Two seconds.

98% of people knew that when an emergency vehicle with flashing lights is approaching, you need to pull over and stop.

WANT TO OWN LAND IN HAWAII FOR $39.95?
Want to own piece of a Pacific Ocean paradise for just 39-95? Too good to be true? Not if you're willing to wait 10-thousand-years years for Hawaii's Loihi underwater volcano to rise above sea level. A Hawaii company is selling ocean-view lots that are literally just ocean for now. Norm Nichols, co-developer of the Lo'ihi Development Corporation, says, "If you really think there's something here that you can't live with, nobody's forcing you to buy it. It's meant to be fun." Nichols and his business partner, both Honolulu entrepreneurs, envision online chatrooms and newsletters to discuss everything from street names to what kind of government to install.
