JANUARY 3, 2007

Here are some of the highlights from this morning's show...

"GET MORE EXERCISE" IS THIS YEAR'S NUMBER ONE NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION
According to the findings of a new survey, this year's number one New Year's resolution is. . . GET MORE EXERCISE. 58% of Americans say that, this year, they're gonna get up off the couch and work out more regularly. Here's the rest of the list. . .

-46% have resolved to EAT BETTER.
-41% want to SAVE MONEY.
-30% want to get ORGANIZED.
-28% have resolved to SPEND LESS money
-And 15% want to TREAT themselves. (--People could choose multiple resolutions.)

Overall, 81% of Americans have made some kind of New Year's resolution.

HOW DEPRESSING... :)
Yesterday, the first business day of the year, the average CEO of a U.S. company with more than $1 BILLION a year in revenue made about $43,928 (IN ONE DAY!!!). . . around $7,000 more than the average U.S. worker will make THIS WHOLE YEAR.

HATE TAKING AN INFANT INTO THE RESTROOM WITH YOU?
This could be the Invention of the Year for any parent who's found themselves sitting in a public bathroom stall. . . and had to make the choice: Do I let my baby crawl around on this REPULSIVELY DISGUSTING FLOOR. . . or keep him on my lap while I do this???

We recommend the BABYKEEPER. . . a harness that straps securely over the stall door and holds your baby there while you do your thing. It fits babies age six to 18 months, and runs for $39.99. Click on http://www.mommysentials.com/babykeeper.htm.
