SANAA LATHAN
Thanks to Sanaa Lathan for joining us this morning. She called to tell us about "A Raisin In The Sun" which was a TV movie on ABC in February, and is now out on DVD.

She also told us she doesn't shop on her own for the red carpet, she borrows dresses for designers. Besides, the pressures of Hollywood don't allow her to wear a dress for a premiere more than once. The best movie she's seen recently is "Iron Man", and she loves action movies. In her down time, she likes to play with her two dogs, go out to eat, go to movies, and just be, well, normal.

Thanks for emailing in your questions!

AMERICAN IDOL NOTES
Is it just me, or has a season filled with so much promise been so disappointing? Julie and I used to love watching American Idol, and now it's kind of hit or miss for me.

Here's what I'd do to fix the show...

*No more kids under 18. No more stage parents, no more immature vocalists...

*Show every contestant who you know makes it past the Hollywood rounds early, and give them equal screen time.

*Get rid of Paula and Randy.. get two more hard-to-impress judges like Simon Cowell. Former contestants already admit that Simon's is the only opinion they care about.

*Only big and broad themes... let the kids pick a song that fits them. Someone who sings a country style of music, should be able to do that every week... How about themes like "songs that were ever #1 on the charts", "songs that other contestants pick for one another", etc. Really broad themes that you can pick from. No limits on one artist.

Anyway, last night, all three contestants did okay. David Cook was the best overall, but I thought David Archuleta did very well with the Billy Joel song that Paula Abdul picked for him. Syesha has NO CHANCE to make it to the finals tonight.

DANCING WITH THE STARS
There were no surprises in last night's Dancing With the Stars elimination show as fan votes couldn't help Marissa Jaret Winokur and partner Tony Dovolani secure a place in next week's finals. Dancing for the coveted mirror-ball trophy Monday will be frontrunning skate champ Kristi Yamaguchi, actor Cristian de la Fuente and football star Jason Taylor.

ARE YOU AN "OFFICE" FAN?
Melora Hardin, who plays Jan on NBC's "The Office", joins us tomorrow about 6:30 AM!
