DANCING WITH THE STARS
It was an evening of fasts and slows, and highs and lows as the Dancing With the Stars competitors performed either the staccato paso doble or the lilting Viennese waltz. The first tens of the season were also handed out to Kristi Yamaguchi, Jason Taylor and Shannon Elizabeth. Though Shannon and injured partner Derek Hough got the lowest total score of the three, judge Len Goodman said theirs was the best dance of the night. Marlee Matlin's waltz that brought tears to Carrie Ann Inaba, who could hardly collect herself after the poignant performance. One-wheeled wonder Adam Carolla incorporated a unicycle into his paso with Julianne Hough, but the stunt did nothing to prevent him from rolling into last place. During tonight's elimination show, Grammy winning singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow performs and the next generation of Dancing With the Stars professionals takes the floor for an exhibition.
