WANT TO SIT ON THE RED CARPET AT THE OSCARS?
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is giving some lucky movie buffs the chance to see their favorite stars up close at the Oscars next year.
Beginning Sept. 17, fans can enter an online lottery for a chance to win one of 300 available bleacher seats along the 500-foot-long red carpet in front of Hollywood's Kodak Theatre before the awards ceremony.
The lottery will be open for one week, with winners being chosen at random on Sept. 24.
The 80th Academy Awards ceremony will be held Feb. 24.

PROTECT YOUR KIDS FROM GERMS
It's no wonder your kids are always getting sick and bringing home viruses. A recent test of nearly 50 playgrounds across the country found traces of HUMAN FECAL MATTER on the equipment of every single playground.
The test was commissioned by "Good Morning America"... and in addition to human fecal matter, they found traces of salmonella, E. coli, and hepatitis A on things like slides, swings, seesaws, and monkey bars at various playgrounds.
Of the cities tested, Chicago's playgrounds had the heaviest bacteria growth, followed by Phoenix. Battery Park in New York City had the FEWEST germs.
A spokesman for the parks departments in charge of one of the dirty Phoenix playgrounds said they're looking into installing hand-sanitizing lotion dispensers near the equipment.
