DISNEY IS DONE MAKING THOSE DIRECT-TO-DVD SEQUELS
I have good news for parents whose kids regularly force them to buy those silly direct-to-DVD sequels that Disney cranks out. . . like "Little Mermaid 2", "Pocahontas 2" and "Cinderella 3". . .

Yeah, Disney says it's DONE producing those direct-do-DVD sequels. Even though those DVDs make MILLIONS for Disney, they say their decision is about QUALITY, and not profit.

The guys behind the move are Pixar bosses John Lasseter and Ed Catmull. . . who became Disney bigwigs when Disney BOUGHT Pixar last year. They think the direct-to-DVD sequels are CHEESY.

The last one will be the soon-to-be-released "Little Mermaid 3". After that, all Disney direct-to-DVD titles will be ORIGINALS.

ARE THESE PEOPLE CRAZY?
According to a new poll of young people, ages 16 to 24, there's a HUGE number of them who say they'd give up chocolate, alcohol, or coffee rather than live without their cell phone. . .

. . . 27% would rather give up coffee than their cell phone.
. . . 18% would rather give up alcohol.
. . . And 15% would rather give up chocolate.

33% say they wouldn't permanently get rid of their cell phones for $2 MILLION.

COULD IT BE? REAL HARRY POTTER SECRETS?

Okay, here we go.

The other day, some hacker going by the name of "Gabriel" claimed to have gotten a copy of the book by breaking into a computer at a London publishing company.

And he decided to RUIN THE SURPRISE for millions of fans worldwide. . . because the pope said that "Harry Potter" books are teaching PAGANISM to children. (???)

For the record, we have NO IDEA IF THIS IS TRUE. But if it is, I'm about to ruin the ending of the book for you. . . and it doesn't even come out until July 21st.

Here goes. . .

According to this Gabriel character, Harry Potter does indeed save the day and kill all the bad guys. But he loses two very close friends in the process.

First, Hagrid is killed by Professor Snape. . . then Hermione is killed by Lord Voldemort. (!!!)

Supposedly, Hagrid dies while protecting Hermione and Ron from an ambush by Snape. And Hermione is killed during a magical duel she and Ron are engaging in with Voldemort. Basically, she sacrifices herself to save Ron.

(Those of you who rely on the movies for your "Harry Potter" fix and have never read any of the books might be surprised to see Professor Snape as one of the villains, but it was actually Snape who killed Dumbledore at the end of the sixth book.)

The publishers of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" won't directly comment on Gabriel's claims, but a spokesman says, quote, "There is a whole lot of junk flying around. Consider this one more theory."
